This study is looking at a new medicine called Rezpegaldesleukin for people aged 12 and older with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD), a skin condition that causes itchy, red, and swollen skin. The study compares this medicine to a placebo, a substance with no active medication, to see how well it works. The study is randomized (participants are randomly chosen to receive either the treatment or placebo) and double-blind (neither participants nor doctors know who gets the actual medicine or placebo).
To join, you need to be at least 12 years old, weigh at least 40 kg (about 88 pounds), and have had AD for over a year. You should have tried other skin treatments that didn't work well. The whole study lasts around 15 months.
- Study Length: Approximately 15 months.
- Eligibility: Must have moderate-to-severe AD and be 12 years or older.
- Exclusions: Cannot have other skin conditions or certain past treatments.
