Phase 3

This study looks at how well a new medicine, NNC0487-0111, works for people with heart failure and obesity. Heart failure is when the heart doesn't pump blood as well as it should. Obesity means having too much body weight. The study will compare NNC0487-0111 to a placebo (a harmless pill with no medicine) to see if it helps people feel better. People in the study will get a shot once a week. They will get either the new medicine or the placebo by chance, like flipping a coin. NNC0487-0111 is a new medicine that doctors don’t prescribe yet, but it has been tested in people before.

  • Participants must have a BMI of 30 or more.
  • People with certain heart or lung conditions cannot join.
  • Eligible participants may need to visit the study site regularly.
