Researchers are conducting a study to find ways to treat metastatic cervical cancer. This type of cancer starts in the cervix, the lower part of the uterus, and spreads to other body parts. The study involves a medicine called sacituzumab tirumotecan (sac-TMT), which targets and destroys cancer cells. It will be used with two other drugs: pembrolizumab and bevacizumab.
The study has two parts:
- Part 1: Tests the safety of combining sac-TMT with the other two drugs.
- Part 2: Participants first get standard treatment. If their cancer doesn't progress, they are either treated with pembrolizumab or sac-TMT plus pembrolizumab.
Only certain patients can join this study, like those with a specific type of cervical cancer and well-controlled health conditions like HIV or hepatitis. Some conditions, like uncontrolled heart disease or another active cancer, will exclude patients from participating.
- Duration: Two-part study with an undefined timeframe.
- Eligibility: Specific cancer type and controlled health conditions required.
- Treatment: Includes sac-TMT, pembrolizumab, and possibly bevacizumab.
