This study is testing the Omnipod® M System, a new insulin pump for people with type 2 diabetes. This pump is "fully closed loop," meaning it automatically adjusts insulin levels. The study will last 26 weeks, with two groups: one using the Omnipod M and the other continuing their usual insulin. After 15 weeks, researchers will check how well the pump works, and then again at 26 weeks. Participants must be between 18-75 years old, have type 2 diabetes, and be on insulin. They should not have used an automated insulin pump recently or have certain health conditions. The study will provide specific insulin types and sensors to use.
- Time Commitment: 26 weeks with regular check-ups.
- Eligibility: Must be on insulin and aged 18-75 with stable health.
- Risks & Benefits: Potential risks for those with unstable health; benefits include better insulin management.
