Narcolepsy Type 2 (NT2) is a condition where people feel very sleepy during the day, even if they sleep well at night. They might fall asleep suddenly or struggle to stay awake. The study aims to test a new medicine called TAK-360, which acts like a brain chemical called orexin that helps keep people awake. TAK-360 could help people with NT2 stay awake during the day.
In this study, participants will either get the TAK-360 medicine or a placebo. A placebo is a pill that looks like the medicine but doesn't contain any active ingredients. This helps researchers see if TAK-360 truly works.
- The study will check how safe TAK-360 is and its effects on staying awake.
- Participants must meet certain health conditions to join, like having a specific weight and not having other sleep disorders.
- People with recent cancer, certain infections, or serious head injuries cannot join.
