This study is testing a drug called enicepatide to help people manage weight. Enicepatide is a special medicine that works with hormones in your body to control appetite and insulin, which is a hormone that helps manage sugar in your blood. The study is for people who have a high body mass index (BMI), which means they are overweight or obese, but do not have Type 2 diabetes.

To join, you need to be able to give yourself the study drug or have someone help you. You should also have tried to lose weight before without success. You can't join if you have certain health problems like diabetes, recent significant weight changes, or if you've had surgery for obesity recently.

  • This study involves taking a new drug and comparing it to a placebo, which has no medicine in it.
  • You must not have diabetes but should be overweight or have obesity.
  • If you join, you need to give yourself or get injections of the study drug regularly.
