Phase 1

This study aims to test a new drug called CBI-1214 for people with a type of colon cancer called advanced or metastatic Microsatellite Stable (MSS)/Microsatellite Instability Low (MSI-L) Colorectal Cancer. The study will check how safe the drug is, how well people can tolerate it, how the body processes it (pharmacokinetics), and if it can help fight the cancer (anti-tumor activity).

Participants must have specific types of cancer, and those who have already tried certain treatments without success can join. They must provide a sample of their cancer tissue. However, if someone has genetic markers called dMMR or MSI-H, past transplants, untreated brain cancer, recent serious infections, or certain heart or autoimmune diseases, they cannot join the study.

  • Study Participation: Only those who have tried other treatments without success can join.
  • Health Requirements: Participants must not have certain infections or serious health conditions.
  • Tissue Sample: Participants need to provide a sample of their cancer tissue.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.
