The Zesty Exercise System for Therapeutic Engagement (ZEST-E) is a study to help people with Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease is a condition that affects movement, making it hard to control your body. The study involves doing exercises guided by a robot three times a week for three weeks. These exercises help improve your range of motion and strength in your lower body.

To take part, you need to be an older adult with mild to moderate Parkinson's disease. The study will check if doing the exercises with the robot is safe and if people like it. You will do tests like the Standing Forward Reach test, which checks how far you can reach forward, and the 30-Second Chair Stand test, which checks how strong your legs are.

  • Exercise sessions happen three times a week for three weeks.
  • Sessions can be monitored in person or remotely with video.
  • Caregivers can join and learn how to prevent falls.
