Phase 2

This study is testing a new medicine called **PRX-115** for adults with gout, a type of arthritis caused by too much uric acid in the blood. *PRX-115* is given through a vein in the arm (this is called an intravenous or IV infusion) and it's being tested with and without another medicine called Methotrexate (MTX). The study will last for 24 weeks, during which doctors will check how well the medicine works and how safe it is for people to use. Some people will get the real medicine and some will get a placebo, which is like a pretend medicine, so the doctors can compare the results.

  • The study lasts 24 weeks with multiple IV infusions.
  • Participants must be adults with gout and meet specific health criteria.
  • Some risks include allergic reactions or interactions with other medications.
