A Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of ML-007C-MA for the Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease Psychosis

Exploring new treatment for Alzheimer's-related psychosis symptoms.

Recruiting
55-90 years
All
Phase 2
This study tests a new drug, **ML-007C-MA**, to see if it helps people with Alzheimer's Disease Psychosis (**ADP**), which can cause hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that aren’t there) and delusions (believing things that aren't true). It's a **Phase 2** study, meaning it's in the early stages of testing. Participants will be randomly given either the drug or a **placebo** (a pill that looks like the drug but has no medicine) without knowing which they receive. The effectiveness will be measured using a tool called the **Neuropsychiatric Inventory-Clinician (NPI-C)** score, which checks for hallucinations and delusions. - **Length & Visits:** Participants need to have stayed in the same care facility for at least 6 weeks before the study starts. - **Participants:** Both men and women ages 55-90 with symptoms for at least two months are needed. - **Considerations:** Participants must not be in hospice care or have other major medical or psychiatric conditions that could affect the study results. Participants should have a care partner who knows them well and can help report their symptoms. Always discuss with a doctor before joining any study.
