This study is for people aged 40 to 85 with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), a lung condition that makes breathing hard. The study tests a drug called dupilumab, given as a shot under the skin, to see if it helps reduce lung inflammation, which is swelling and irritation in the lungs. It compares dupilumab to a placebo, a treatment with no active drug. The study will last up to 40 weeks, with 24 weeks of treatment and 9 visits to the study center.

To join, you must have a doctor-diagnosed COPD, be a current or former smoker, and meet specific health criteria.
