This study is testing a new medicine called finerenone to see if it helps people with heart failure feel better and live longer. Heart failure is when the heart doesn't pump blood as well as it should. The study compares finerenone to a fake pill, called a placebo, to see which works better. People who join the study will be randomly picked to get either the real medicine or the placebo, and neither they nor their doctors will know which one they got. This is called a "double-blind" study. The study will include people who are currently in the hospital or have just left the hospital for heart failure. They'll need to meet certain health criteria to join.
- This study requires hospital visits and check-ins.
- There are specific health tests to check if you can join.
- Participants will be closely monitored for safety.
