This study is about testing a drug called **ivosidenib** for patients with a specific type of blood cancer called **acute myeloid leukemia (AML)**. This drug targets a mutation in a gene called **IDH1**. After a special treatment called **hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT)**, the study wants to see if ivosidenib can stop the cancer from coming back. The study is in **Phase 2**, which means it's testing the drug's effectiveness and safety.
The study will last about **3.5 years** and includes up to **24 months of treatment**. After treatment, there will be a follow-up for **12 more months**. Around **75 people** will join this study. Participants will get either ivosidenib or a **placebo**, which looks like the drug but doesn't have active ingredients. They won’t know which one they’re receiving.
- Participation involves regular evaluations and follow-ups.
- It is important to have stable health conditions to join.
