Phase 3

This study is to see if a new medicine, NNC0487-0111, helps people with extra body weight and knee osteoarthritis (a type of arthritis that affects the knee) lose weight and feel less pain. Osteoarthritis means the joint wears down, and it can be painful. In this study, participants will get either the medicine or a placebo, which looks like the medicine but doesn't have any active ingredients. This is to compare how well NNC0487-0111 works.

Participants need to be 18 or older and have knee osteoarthritis. Pain in the knee should have been present for at least 90 days before the study starts.

  • **Duration**: Participants will receive weekly injections.
  • **Participation**: By chance, you get either the medicine or placebo.
  • **Requirements**: Must not have diabetes or recent knee surgeries.

Before participating, you must stop taking pain relief medicine for 72 hours before certain visits. This study checks if the new medicine is safe and effective, and if it can help reduce weight and knee pain.
