This study looks at using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) to help people who feel very tired after a stroke. A stroke is when blood flow to the brain is blocked, and it can make people feel exhausted all the time. rTMS is a way of using magnets to stimulate the brain without surgery or pain, and it has helped with mood issues like depression. In this study, people who have been recovering from a stroke for more than six months can participate. The researchers will check how participants feel before and after they receive the magnetic treatment to see if it helps reduce tiredness.
- The study will happen in Atlanta, and you'll need to visit the location for treatment.
- Participants will receive either real or fake (sham) treatment, but they won't know which one.
- To join, you must be between 34-80 years old and have had a stroke over six months ago.
