This study is for adults with high levels of triglycerides, a type of fat found in your blood. The study aims to test the long-term safety and effectiveness of a medication called plozasiran. The participants must have completed a previous study, be willing to follow a low-fat diet, and have a blood sugar level (HbA1c) of ≤10%. HbA1c is a test that shows your average blood sugar level over the past 2 to 3 months.

Plozasiran is given as a shot under the skin every three months for two years. Participants must also continue taking their regular medications for lowering fats and triglycerides unless they are unable to do so due to side effects.

  • The study lasts for 24 months with visits approximately every 3 months.
  • Participants must follow a low-fat diet throughout the study.
  • Participants should discuss any potential risks and benefits with their doctor.

Make sure you meet all the study's criteria and talk to your doctor to see if this study is right for you.
