Testing CX11 Tablets in People with Type 2 Diabetes.

All
Phase 2

This study is testing how well a new pill, CX11, works for people with Type 2 Diabetes (when the body can't use insulin well). It's for patients who still have high blood sugar even after taking a medicine called metformin (with or without a helper called an SGLT2 inhibitor). The study takes place in various clinics, and it's set up so neither the doctors nor the patients know who gets the real pill or a fake one (placebo). The study lasts 24 weeks, followed by a 2-week safety check-up. Participants are split randomly into groups to get different doses of CX11 or a placebo.

  • Participants must be aged 18-75 with Type 2 Diabetes for at least 6 months.
  • The study involves a 26-week commitment (24 weeks treatment + 2 weeks follow-up).
  • Healthy volunteers should avoid grapefruit products and will need regular check-ups.
