The **WounDx™ Clinical Decision Support Tool** is an experimental device being tested in hospitals to help doctors decide when to close large, open wounds on arms or legs. The device is not yet approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It uses data about the wound and a special test called an immunoassay to measure inflammatory biomarkers, which are signals in the body that show how well a wound is healing. This information helps the device predict if a wound will heal properly after it's closed. This trial is a small test to see if the device works well and to plan a bigger study later.
- **Participation**: For adults aged 18 to 65 with large extremity wounds.
- **Study Length**: The device gives a report within 2 to 3 days after a wound cleaning surgery.
- **Risks**: Participants must not have certain medical conditions like diabetes or be pregnant.
