This study focuses on *candidemia*, which is a blood infection caused by a yeast called Candida. Researchers want to find out if shorter antifungal treatments work as well as longer ones for children with uncomplicated candidemia. Children aged over 120 days and under 18 years, who have already been treated with antifungal medication for 7 days, may join. They will be divided into two groups: one continuing antifungal therapy for an extra 7 days (standard-course) and the other stopping at 7 days (short-course). The study checks if both treatments are effective by comparing outcomes after another 14 days.
Key Points:- Participants will be in the study for about 21 days.
- The study does not involve any extra treatments outside of managing candidemia.
- Participants need to meet certain health conditions to join this study.
