Time-Restricted Eating (TRE) is a way of eating where you only eat during a specific time window each day, like 8 hours, without changing what you eat. It can help with weight loss and controlling blood sugar. However, we want to learn how this affects other activities like exercise, sitting, and sleeping, which are part of the 24-hour Activity Cycle (24-HAC) that includes all daily activities.
This study will last three weeks and includes college-aged women. Participants will either follow TRE by choosing an 8-hour eating window or be in a control group with no eating time limits. ActiGraph monitors will track activity and sleep, and participants will note meal times and hunger levels.
- Study Duration: 3 weeks with daily tracking.
- Requirements: Choose and stick to an 8-hour eating window.
- Participants: Female college students aged 18-26.
