This Study Will Evaluate the Effectiveness of NTX-001, a Surgical Nerve Repair Product When Used in People With Upper Extremity Nerve Lacerations.

We're testing NTX-001 for nerve repair after arm or hand injuries.

Phase 3

This study tests a product called **NTX-001**, which helps fix nerves in the arm that have been cut. When nerves are cut, doctors sew them back together, but it can take a long time for them to work properly again. NTX-001 is a special surgical product used with these stitches to help nerves heal faster and better. The product works by reconnecting more *axons*, or nerve fibers, which are the parts that carry signals in the body. This could mean less waiting time for nerves to start working again and better results in movement and feeling.

Key Points:

  • Participants must be between 18-80 years old and have a specific type of nerve injury.
  • Study excludes people with certain health conditions, allergies to specific materials, or those pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Nerve repair must occur within 48 hours of injury and no other nerve repair studies can be joined during this time.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?
