The NAVIGATE-PCI Registry is a study that aims to assess the use of a new tool called the PCI Navigator, which helps doctors plan heart procedures more efficiently. When someone has a heart problem, they might need a procedure called a PCI, or Percutaneous Coronary Intervention. This is where doctors use a small tube to open up blocked blood vessels in the heart. The PCI Navigator uses special computer pictures, called CT scans, to help doctors plan this procedure better.
For the study, doctors will look at data from patients who had a PCI before and after using the PCI Navigator. They will check things like how confident doctors feel about the procedure, how long it takes, and how much contrast dye and radiation are used. It's important to know that no follow-up data will be collected after the patient leaves the hospital.
- Study involves looking at past data, no new treatment given.
- Only patients who had a CT scan within 90 days before PCI can join.
- No follow-up after hospital stay.
