This study looks at a new way to treat Atrial Fibrillation (AF), which is when the heart beats irregularly. There are two groups in this study. One group will have a treatment called Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PVI), and the other group will have PVI plus a special mapping system called vMap®. This mapping system helps doctors to better target the areas in the heart causing the irregular beats.
Participants have a 50/50 chance of being in either the treatment or control group. The study is for adults 22 years and older who have persistent or returning AF. Some things may prevent you from joining, like being pregnant or having other heart rhythm problems.
- Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: PVI alone or PVI with vMap®.
- The study requires a procedure, and you must be able to follow the study rules.
- You cannot join if you are in another study or if you have certain medical conditions.
