This study is looking at a new treatment for Dry Eye Disease (DED). DED is when your eyes don't make enough tears or the right kind, causing discomfort. The study will last for 4 weeks and will compare the new treatment, a mix of Lifitegrast and Perfluorohexyloctane, to see if it helps people with DED feel better. Participants will take the treatment twice a day. The study is randomized (participants are chosen by chance), double-masked (neither the participants nor the researchers know who gets the new treatment), and active-controlled (compared to another treatment).
- The study lasts 4 weeks, and you need to come for several visits.
- Participants must be 18 or older and have had DED for at least 6 months.
- You cannot join if you're allergic to the treatment or have used other eye treatments recently.
If you decide to join, you will need to follow all instructions and attend all visits. This helps researchers find out if the new treatment is safe and works well.
