Phase 3

This study is testing a new medicine called NNC0487-0111 to see if it helps people with extra body weight lose weight safely. Participants will receive injections under the skin once a week. They will either get NNC0487-0111 or a Placebo, which is like a pretend medicine with no active ingredients. The treatment each person receives is decided by chance, like flipping a coin.

  • Study involves weekly injections.
  • Participants will not know if they are receiving the actual medicine or placebo.
  • Participants must have tried and failed to lose weight before.

To join, you must be an adult who has tried to lose weight before but couldn't. You cannot participate if you have diabetes or have taken certain diabetes medicines before. This study will help find out if this new treatment can effectively help people manage their weight.
