Phase 3

This study checks how well and safely the drug Eloralintide (LY3841136) works for knee pain from osteoarthritis (OA) in adults who are overweight or have obesity. Osteoarthritis is a condition where the joints become painful and stiff. Participants should have a body mass index (BMI) of 27 or higher. BMI is a number that helps understand if someone has a healthy weight for their height. The study lasts about 75 weeks, which includes time for initial health checks (screening).

Key Points:

  • Participation is around 75 weeks long, including the screening period.
  • Eligible participants should not have major heart issues, active knee infections, or diabetes.
  • Participants must have tried to lose weight through diet at least once before.

People interested should not have had recent surgeries for obesity or taken weight loss medications in the last 90 days. The study aims to help those over 50 or with knee stiffness and sounds like crackling or grinding. This is an opportunity to try a new treatment if you fit the criteria and are interested in participating.
