Phase 2

This study tests a new medicine called ENV-294 for adults with moderate-to-severe asthma. Asthma is a condition that narrows your airways, making it hard to breathe. ENV-294 is taken as a pill once a day for 12 weeks. Some people will get a placebo, which is a fake pill that doesn't have medicine. The study checks how safe the medicine is and how well it works by measuring breathing and asthma control. Participants continue using their usual inhalers during this study. To join, you must be 18 to 75 years old, have had asthma for at least a year, and have been on stable inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) and long-acting beta₂-agonists (LABA) for at least 2 months. You can't join if you've had a serious asthma attack recently or have other lung issues.

  • **Length**: 12-week study, with a 28-day screening period before starting.
  • **Visits**: Regular visits for safety checks and asthma evaluations.
  • **Treatment**: Daily oral medicine or placebo; continue usual inhalers.
