This study is investigating a treatment for people with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a condition affecting the eyes and causing vision loss. The study is testing a single injection of jCell (famzeretcel), which contains 6 million retinal progenitor cells. Retinal progenitor cells are cells that can develop into healthy cells in the retina, which is the light-sensitive part of the eye. The study will last for six months and aims to see if this treatment is safe and whether it helps improve vision compared to a placebo (inactive treatment).
- The study lasts for six months and requires regular visits to the research site.
- Participants must be between 18 and 60 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of RP.
- Participants must be willing to provide blood samples and follow study-related procedures.
