**Study Summary**: This study is testing a medicine called **ribupatide** to see if it helps people lose weight. **Ribupatide** is given as a weekly shot under the skin, called a subcutaneous (SC) injection. People in the study will either get ribupatide or a placebo (a shot without medicine) to compare the effects on body weight. **Placebo** is used to see if changes happen because of the real medicine or not. To join, you need a **BMI** (Body Mass Index) of 30 or more, or 27 with a weight-related condition like high blood pressure, bad cholesterol levels, sleep troubles, or heart disease. You should have tried but not succeeded in losing weight with diet or exercise in the last six months.
