Phase 3

Fibromyalgia is a condition causing widespread pain and tiredness. This study tests a drug called AXS-14 for fibromyalgia. The study has two parts: a 12-week period where everyone takes AXS-14, followed by another 12-week period where half of the people continue AXS-14 and the other half take a placebo (a pill with no medicine). This second part is "double-blind," meaning neither the participants nor the researchers know who is taking the real medicine or the placebo.

Eligibility requires you to be at least 18 years old with a fibromyalgia diagnosis. You cannot join if you've previously used a similar drug or can't follow study rules. Participants must agree in writing to be part of the study.

  • The study lasts 24 weeks total, with two parts, each 12 weeks long.
  • Some participants might receive a placebo after the first 12 weeks.
  • Written consent is needed to participate in the study.
