Study on Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD): This research is to check the safety and how well a new medicine, ABBV-CLS-628, works for people with ADPKD. ADPKD is a genetic disease causing cysts in kidneys.
In this study, participants get ABBV-CLS-628 or a placebo (fake treatment) through an IV, which is a tube that goes into a vein, every four weeks for 92 weeks. A placebo is used to compare if the medicine really works. Each person has a 1 in 4 chance of getting the placebo. There will be about 240 adults in the study from around the world.
Participants will visit the hospital or clinic often for check-ups, blood tests, and to answer questions about how they feel. This study might require more effort than usual health care.
- Timeline: IV treatment every 4 weeks for 92 weeks, followed by 15 weeks of follow-up.
- Participants: 240 adults worldwide, divided into 4 groups.
- Commitment: Frequent clinic visits and assessments.
