This study is to help people with advanced cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is when cells in the cervix grow abnormally and can spread. This study looks at two ways to treat it. One way is using **chemoradiation** (a mix of chemotherapy and radiation). The other way adds new drugs called **carboplatin** and **paclitaxel** before chemoradiation. Chemotherapy uses drugs to kill cancer cells, while radiation uses high-energy rays. **Pembrolizumab** is an immunotherapy drug, which helps the immune system fight cancer.
- The study lasts up to 5 years with regular check-ups every 3 to 6 months.
- Participants may need to visit the clinic often, especially in the beginning.
- Treatments have side effects, but they vary from person to person.
Participants must be adults with specific types of cervical cancer, and they shouldn't have had certain treatments before. They must also be in good health without other serious medical issues. This study aims to see if adding more chemotherapy at the beginning could help patients live longer without cancer getting worse.
