Phase N/A
This study tests a new treatment called **VIA Disc NP** for people with back pain from _degenerative disc disease (DDD)_. DDD happens when the discs in your spine, which act like cushions, wear out over time. The study is designed to see how safe and effective the VIA Disc NP treatment is. Participants will either receive the treatment or a placebo (a sham procedure) without knowing which one they get. If at 12 months, symptoms persist in the placebo group, they can switch to the real treatment and be observed for another 12 months. **Key Points:** - The study lasts up to 24 months with regular visits. - Participants must have tried other treatments for at least 3 months without success. - Some participants might receive a placebo treatment first. To join, you must be between 22 and 85 years old, have specific back pain, and be willing to follow the study's schedule. If you've had certain back procedures or conditions, you might not be eligible. Women must not be pregnant or plan to become pregnant during the study.
