This study aims to test a new medicine called lunsekimig for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). COPD is a lung disease making it hard to breathe. Some people with COPD have higher levels of a type of white blood cell called eosinophils, which this study focuses on. Participants will be given lunsekimig or a placebo (a harmless pill) through a shot for 48 weeks. A placebo is used to compare and see if the new medicine works better.
- The study lasts about 60 weeks including screening, treatment, and follow-up periods.
- Participants should be between 40 to 80 years old and have had COPD for at least 1 year.
- Certain health conditions or therapies might prevent participation, so check eligibility carefully.
