This study is about finding the best way to help Early Intervention (EI) providers give high-quality services to children with communication delays related to autism. The focus is on teaching Project ImPACT, a program that helps children with autism improve their social and communication skills. Two different training models will be tested on 150 EI providers in Georgia to see which one works better.
Caregivers can choose to participate in this study by completing surveys before and after the program, or just one survey at the end. All activities happen at the Marcus Autism Center.
Key Points:
- The study involves participating in training that is part of routine services.
- Surveys before and after the program take 20-30 minutes each.
- Research takes place at the Marcus Autism Center.
Providers must work in Georgia's EI system and speak English. Caregivers must have a child under 36 months in EI services and also speak English. If you meet these criteria, you can be part of this important study to improve services for children with autism.
