Study Overview: This study aims to test how well ASC30 tablets work for people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2D). Participants will be randomly placed into different groups, and neither they nor the doctors will know who is getting the real medicine or a placebo (a pill with no medicine). The study is in Phase II, which means it's checking if the medicine is safe and effective.

Criteria: To join, participants need to have Type 2 Diabetes with an HbA1c level (a blood sugar measure) between 7.0% and 10.5%. They should have a steady body weight and a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 23 or more. People with other severe health issues or who have had certain diabetes complications can't join.

  • Duration: The study has multiple visits over a few months.
