Phase 2

This study is testing if a new medicine called DT-101 can help adults with depression. Depression is a mood disorder causing sadness and loss of interest. The medicine's effect will be compared to a placebo, a harmless pill with no medicine. Volunteers will visit a clinic every couple of weeks for health checks and answer questions about their feelings and mood.

The team will check if volunteers can join by doing physical and brain health exams, and by taking blood and urine samples. These checks will happen throughout the study to ensure safety and to see how DT-101 affects depression symptoms. Blood samples will also show how DT-101 moves through the body and if genes play a role in how people react to the medicine.

  • Study lasts 8 weeks with visits every 2 weeks.
  • Participants must be between 18 to 75 years old.
  • No compensation is mentioned, but health checks are provided.
