The AGENT DCB STANCE study is testing a new treatment for heart arteries called the AGENT Drug-Coated Balloon. It compares this new treatment to the usual method called Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), which often uses a stent (a tiny tube that keeps arteries open). This study focuses on people with de novo coronary lesions, meaning new blockages in heart arteries. The study will include two smaller studies, one looking at how the drug moves in the body (PK sub-study) and another using a special heart scan (IVUS sub-study). To join, you need to be at least 18 years old, understand the study, and agree to follow all the rules.
- Length: You will need to agree to follow-up checks for up to a year.
- Visits: Must attend all required appointments.
- Risks: You cannot participate if you have serious health issues like some heart conditions or cancer.
