Phase 2
**Study Summary:** This study is testing a medication called Iloperidone to see if it helps people with high blood pressure that is not controlled well. High blood pressure, also known as *hypertension*, can lead to serious health problems if not treated. The study is *randomized*, meaning participants are picked by chance to receive either the new medication or a *placebo*, which is a pill that looks like the medication but has no active ingredients. It is also *double-blind*, meaning neither the participants nor the doctors know who is getting the real medication. **Key Points:** - Participants must have a blood pressure reading (SiSBP) of 130 mmHg or higher even after 8 weeks of using other blood pressure medicines. - People with very high blood pressure (SiSBP of 180 mmHg or more) or certain health problems like heart or kidney issues cannot join. - This study may offer close monitoring and could provide helpful insights for managing blood pressure, but there are no guarantees of direct benefits.
