This study looks at a treatment for atrial fibrillation (AF), which is an irregular heartbeat. It compares two methods: Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) with Electrographic Flow Mapping, and PFA with Posterior Wall Ablation. The goal is to see if one method is as effective and safe as the other for people whose AF symptoms don't improve with drugs.
Eligibility: Adults 18+ with persistent AF not helped by medication can join. You need a test showing AF symptoms for more than 7 days and less than a year. You must agree to use an implantable heart monitor called LUX-Dx™.
Key Points:
- This study requires multiple follow-ups and assessments at a clinical center.
- You will receive a LUX-Dx™ heart monitor, which must be used throughout the study.
- Certain heart conditions and other health problems may make you ineligible.
