Resource Intervention to Support Equity (RISE) is a study for children with high-risk neuroblastoma, a type of cancer. The study aims to see if extra help, called Pediatric RISE, can improve outcomes for children from low-income families. Neuroblastoma is a cancer that often starts in the small glands on top of the kidneys. Participants will be picked randomly to receive either regular care or regular care with Pediatric RISE help. The study lasts about 6 months, and will involve visits or online meetings, as well as filling out surveys.
- Study Duration: Participation will last approximately 6 months.
- Visits: Participants will have in-person or virtual appointments.
- Eligibility: Only children from low-income families with high-risk neuroblastoma can join.
To be part of this study, children should be under 18, diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, and living in certain states like MA, PA, IL, CA, WA, CT, GA, WI, or OH. Families with a low income are eligible. However, families receiving special government benefits are not eligible.
