Sensor-based Congestion Alert for Events in Peritoneal Dialysis (SCALE-PD) Study
This study looks at how a special scale, called the Bodyport Cardiac Scale, can help predict problems caused by too much fluid in people with kidney disease who use a treatment called peritoneal dialysis. Peritoneal dialysis is a way to clean the blood when kidneys aren't working well. The study will check if certain signals from the body, known as biomarkers, can warn about these fluid problems.
Key Points:
- The study is for people aged 21 and older who are on peritoneal dialysis.
- You must be able to stand on your own and use a specific remote patient management system.
- Participants can't join if they plan to switch to another dialysis type or have certain health conditions.
