Phase 4

Lupus nephritis (LN) is a serious kidney problem caused by lupus, a disease where the immune system attacks the body. This study tests if two medicines, Belimumab (BEL) and Voclosporin (VCS), can help more people with LN get better. The study will see if these medicines, when used with standard treatment Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF), work better than using MMF alone.

Participants must be 18 to 80 years old, have lupus nephritis, and meet certain health criteria. The study involves taking BEL and VCS while reducing MMF. The goal is to see if this combination helps more people achieve complete remission, meaning their kidney disease is under control.

  • Participants may need to stop or reduce MMF as part of the treatment.
  • The trial is open-label, meaning both doctors and patients know what treatment is given.
  • Participants must use effective birth control and meet other health requirements to join.
