Up to 25% of people in North America have this problem. Currently, tests don't fully explain why CC happens, making it hard to find good treatments. We're using a new device called *Fecobionics*, which is like a fake poop with sensors. These sensors help us understand how the muscles in the rectum and anal canal work during pooping. **Key Points:** - **Participation:** Involves using the Fecobionics device to test defecation patterns. - **Duration and Visits:** Includes multiple tests for healthy volunteers and CC patients. - **Safety:** The study uses a safe, non-invasive device with no radiation. We are looking for both healthy individuals and those with CC to participate. If you have regular bowel movements or meet certain criteria for CC, you might be eligible. However, if you're pregnant or have had past anorectal surgeries, you cannot participate. This study could help improve treatments and reduce healthcare costs related to CC.
