This study explores how well a new medicine, orforglipron, works for people who are overweight or have obesity and have knee pain from osteoarthritis (OA). Osteoarthritis is a joint disease that causes pain and stiffness. Participants will be involved for about 74 weeks. To be part of this study, you need a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 27 or higher, which measures body fat based on height and weight. You must have tried dieting unsuccessfully before and have knee osteoarthritis. You should be over 50 years old, or have morning knee stiffness or a crackling knee.
Exclusions: You cannot join if you have lost or gained more than 11 pounds recently, had knee surgery, have diabetes, or certain heart issues.
- Participate for about 74 weeks.
