Caregiver Bootcamp is a research study designed to help caregivers of people with dementia right after they receive the diagnosis. Dementia is a condition that affects the brain, making it hard to remember things or think clearly. The study aims to boost caregivers' confidence and skills through a program that includes learning and coaching. Participants will join small online groups for 5 weeks, with sessions lasting 90-120 minutes each. They'll also receive materials to learn on their own between sessions.

  • **Duration:** 5 weeks with weekly online sessions.
  • **Eligibility:** Must be 21+, caring for someone diagnosed with dementia in the past 6 months, and have internet access.
  • **Exclusion:** Planning to move the person with dementia to a care facility within 6 months.

Eligible caregivers can participate from anywhere, as long as they speak English and have a device with internet. This study is a good opportunity to learn how to handle the new challenges of caregiving while also looking after your own well-being.
