Phase 4
This study aims to find out if Amnio-Maxx, a special patch, can help heal diabetic foot ulcers (sores). A diabetic foot ulcer is an open sore or wound that occurs on the foot of someone with diabetes. The study compares using the Amnio-Maxx patch with regular care versus regular care alone. Participants must be 18 or older and have had diabetes. They must have a specific type of foot ulcer that hasn't healed much in 2 weeks and is between 1 and 25 square centimeters in size. **Key Points:** - The study involves regular check-ups and using a special patch for healing. - Participants need to follow specific instructions and must not be in other trials. - Females must not be pregnant, and participants must be able to follow study rules. Participants should be willing and able to comply with study requirements, including regular visits and using a special device to help their foot heal. The study excludes people with serious health issues or those who can't follow the study rules.
