Weyera Mental Health Pilot Intervention is a study for Ethiopian and Eritrean young adults (18-29 years old) in Atlanta. It targets mental health issues like depression (a strong feeling of sadness), anxiety (worry or fear), and PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder, which is stress after a scary event). The study aims to see if a special group program can help. Participants will join 8 weekly sessions, each lasting about 2 hours, where they will learn about mental health, practice coping skills, and talk openly. A control group will join later to compare results. Surveys will be completed at different points to track progress.
