This study is for Ethiopian and Eritrean youth living in Atlanta, aged 18 to 29, to see how well a group activity helps mental health. **Mental health** means how we feel emotionally and handle stress. The study looks at depression (feeling very sad for a long time), anxiety (feeling very worried), and PTSD (feeling scared or upset by past events). This study will help understand if this activity is safe and works well.
Participants will join 8 weekly group sessions, each lasting about 2 hours. These sessions will teach you about mental health and ways to feel better. Trained helpers will guide the group. There will also be surveys to fill out at start, and then again 2-, 4-, and 6-months later. After each session, you will also share your thoughts in a quick survey.
- Study takes about 8 weeks with weekly meetings.
- It includes surveys before, during, and after the sessions.
