This study is for adults with advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma, a type of kidney cancer that has spread and can't be removed by surgery. Researchers are looking at how well a new drug, casdatifan, works with another drug, cabozantinib, compared to a placebo (a pill with no active medicine) and cabozantinib. They want to know if these drugs can help stop the cancer from getting worse after patients have already tried other treatments called anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 immunotherapy.

• The study requires at least one measurable cancer spot that hasn't been treated with radiation.
• Participants cannot have received certain treatments before, like HIF-2α inhibitors or cabozantinib.

Before joining, you will need a blood test to confirm you are not pregnant if you are a woman who can have children. Your blood pressure needs to be under control, and you should not have other serious health issues. This study checks if new treatments can help people live longer without their cancer getting worse.
